How to build a multiplayer game
In this talk I will focus on how I designed the whole system. How coding a system with so many independently moving parts is less about the bits and bytes and more about the high-level capabilities rust offers.
We will try the brand new infrastructure that we will use for RustFest Global too. This will give you a sneak peek on how things will happen on the full conference. Fair warning: Expect some bugs. Worst case we have to reschedule or use our backup infrastructure.
Stefan attended the first RustFest in Berlin and became a member of the organisation team with Kiev. He hosted the Zürich Edition and has been doing a lot of different stuff since then most notably the information screens, stage moderation and small games.
